Technician I
As an Auto Repair Technician at Fraser's Automotive, you'll be at the forefront of diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues in gasoline passenger vehicles. Your expertise will span a range of systems, including Gasoline Combustion Engines, Brakes, Suspension, HVAC, EVAP, Power & Ground Distribution, and Exhaust. Responsibilities
Your role as Technician I involves:
Crafting effective work procedures using charts, technical manuals, and your wealth of experience.
Skillfully testing parts and systems to identify issues and ensure optimal functionality.
Utilizing checklists to meticulously examine all critical components.
Conducting Multi-Point Inspections and documenting findings on a digital platform, complete with issue descriptions and supporting photos for customer clarity.
Swiftly repairing or replacing worn or damaged parts.
Executing repairs in alignment with manufacturer specifications.
Communicating diagnostic and repair procedures clearly to both the service manager and customers.
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive compensation: Starting at $25/hour commission (Flat Rate) for up to 30 hours/week, increasing to $37.50 for over 30 hours/week during the first 90 days. Further pay negotiations possible based on demonstrated skills and abilities.

Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Ownership of your tools; specialty tools, kits, or advanced diagnostic equipment not required.
Proficiency and experience in accurate diagnosis and repair, leveraging resources like ProDemand & AllData, Technical Publications, Wiring Schematics, and Diagnostic Scanners/Computers/Tools.
A valid VA Driver's License.
Self-motivation, organizational prowess, effective planning skills, and critical thinking abilities.
A collaborative mindset, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing within our supportive environment.
No mandatory ASE certifications.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional automotive repair facility
A VA State Inspection License is advantageous but not obligatory.
